  • 2 fresh oranges, apples or pears which are used as a sweetener. Pears are higher in natural sugars so a diabetic may be safer using one pear and one apple or just all apples. Experiment, check your blood sugars afterwards and see what works best for you.

    Combine each of these ingredients into your blender, process and pour the entire mixture into your nut milk bag to separate the juice from the pulp. Add an equal amount of water to your container of fresh juice (it is too strong as it is), stir and drink the entire glass within 5 minutes.

    Fresh juices will oxidize within 5 minutes therefore losing its vital minerals and nutrients when exposed to the air. Do not store any fresh juices for later use. You will not be getting any of the health benefits from a stored glass of juice.

    What About The Pulp?

    Why are you supposed to throw the pulp away when mixing your own from a fresh juicing recipe?

    Actually, many people enjoy the pulp from the fruits but the vegetable fibers is what turns most people off. Many people who have tried fresh juices do not realize you should never keep the fibers and pulp from a vegetable mixture. They have a tendency to be very strong and quite bitter. Then combine the two, add your water, taste and if you want it a little sweeter add a little bit of stevia for a naturally sweetened drink which is a meal all by itself.

    • 1 or 2 types of fresh greens
