Grounding:

Repairing A Faulty Immune System With
Types Of Alternative Medicine

Grounding, also sometimes known as earthing, is a new field of alternative therapy being used to re-charge the immune system, thus ultimately leading to a better return of health for the human body.

Direct contact with the earth's surface, in other words walking around barefooted, is a means to super-charge the electrical system within our bodies.

The human body, in sickness, is over-charged with positive electrons. This results in increased inflammation, muscle pain and tension, headaches, high blood pressure plus a host of other symptoms. All of this can and does lead to heart disease, arthritis, diabetes and a general submission of the immune system. Once the immune system loses its health, your entire body is more susceptible to illness and disease.

The ground itself is full of negative electrons just sitting there and waiting every single day. When the human body comes in contact with this unlimited source of negative electrons, the end result is a blending of the negative (from the ground) with the positive (from your body) which neutralizes the free radicals invading a patient's health.

Many people have explained this connection gives them a warm fuzzy feeling in their body. Frequent testing and monitoring though within this decade has revealed an almost immediate reduction in adverse symptoms from pain, inflammation, lowered stress and blood pressure levels plus just a general feeling of "being better". Longer and smoother sleep cycles without the aid of any type of medications has also been documented.

How To Achieve The Benefits Of Grounding

Earthing is simply the act of allowing any part of your body to touch the earth's surface for a minimum of 30 minute intervals. This does not refer to your socks or shoes touching the ground or any of your clothing.

Gardening itself is not a true measure because the gardener does not keep their hands in the dirt for a sustained period, it is often an in and out process.

You do not get the benefits of this electrical stimulation passing through your body without the sustained contact.

Standing in the grass or sitting in a chair with your feet touching the ground, laying down in the park with your arms and legs touching the grass etc. all give you the benefits of grounding, or this continuous electrical stimulation passing back and forth within your body .

Because of current lifestyle conditions which now prevent many people from even touching the ground (think cities and towns which are all concrete, blacktop and brick), research is working on alternatives for in-home use so anyone can achieve the benefits of grounding.
